Writer/photographer/videographer Phil Audibert has called Orange County home ever since he was eight years old. Something of a jack of all trades (and self admitted master of none), Phil has also been, over the years, a radio News Director, a cattle farmer, an innkeeper, a ski instructor, a musician, and a historical tour guide. But most importantly, Phil has followed a lifelong passion for photography and journalism, both print and broadcast.
He focuses his lenses, microphone, and pen on a wide variety of subjects, exploring a diverse range of people, places, and events. Within the past 15 years, Phil, along with his creative partner, Ross Hunter, have produced historical video documentaries about: legendary cookbook author Edna Lewis (“In the Season: The Edna Lewis Story”), the effects of the Civil War on a rural community (“All Four Years, The Civil War in Orange County, Virginia”), and he and Hunter co-produced the documentary “Someday, the Unexpected Story of School Integration in Orange County, Virginia.”
All in all, the AHHA Productions team has produced a dozen full length documentaries, as well as numerous short videos about the environment, travel, and mounted foxhunting. Recently, Audibert launched an oral history project entitled “Memories,” where he recorded and produced 20 interviews with local folks. He currently serves on the Montpelier Descendants Committee Oral History Collaboration team.
Phil has also been active with the Orange County Historical Society, serving as editor of the monthly electronic bulletin the Oracle and producer of the History-to-Go series. Phil and his other creative partner, his wife, Susie, invite you to explore their words and images; sights and sounds by visiting their website www.AudibertPhoto.com
