OCAAHS Board members Bruce Monroe, JoAnn Brock, Mary Freeman, Rev. Robert Anthony, Rev. Darryle Crump, Lewis Johnson, Judy Peterson and Ellen Wessel took an after-hours, behind-the-scenes tour of Historic Germanna’s active archaeological sites on Monday, July 17, with Executive Director Jennifer Hurst-Wender, Director of Archaeology Eric Larsen and Archaeology Site Director Kelly Arford-Horne. The staff is in vigorously pursuing information about African Americans enslaved there.
